What you'll be doing:

As Service Readiness Manager, you will be in charge of:
  • The Service Readiness Manager (SRM) ensures that an agreed, signed contract for a new or revised service is successfully implemented into the relevant Service Assurance department(s) and will meet customer SLA's
  • The SRM has ownership of the GCS Service Readiness plan with accountability for ensuring the signed contract is implemented to time, cost and quality, and manages the impact on GCS Service Assurance of any agreed changes to the signed contract or delivery approach
  • The SRM manages the virtual Service Readiness team ensuring effective resource planning and management of allocated resources, including co-opted members of Service Assurance, Client Services and other SMEs as required
  • The SRM owns and produces relevant deliverables and documentation within the Service Readiness scope of work, including the Operations Manual, and manages or facilitates the development of any Local Working Instructions
  • The SRM ensures that the delivery programme agrees and meets their obligations in respect of tools and systems delivery, migration/update of asset and inventory data, and liaises with the appropriate teams in TSO and Project Delivery. The SRM also owns the interface and communications between the Delivery Programme and GCS Service Assurance groups
  • The SRM owns the facilitation of training for Service Assurance and and required service related training for the end-customer.
  • The SRM manages and monitors GCS Service Assurance elements of the Operational Readiness Test (ORT), User Acceptance Test and Acceptance Into Service (AIS) ensuring all appropriate sign-offs are obtained.
  • The SRM owns the facilitation of training for Service Assurance and and required service related training for the end-customer.

Professional skills:
  • Good understanding of ITIL and customer service
  • Project Management knowledge is an advantage


Language skills:
  • English on a fluent level is a must
  • French is an advantage
  • German is an advantage
  • Italian is an advantage
  • Spanish is an advantage
